The STAR (Student Triumph Awards Recognition) Luncheon provides an opporunity for the community to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of CIS kids. Our guests include city and county officials, superintendents and school officials from Wichita, Catholic Diocese, Valley Center, and Derby as well as business and community leaders.
Purpose:
- To honor students who have made significant progress in the areas of academics, behavior, and/or attendance.
- To honor students who have contributed to the community through service.
- To recognize a family involved with Communities In Schools who has made remarkable strides in enhancing their future.
- To raise funds to support CIS operations.
The 2010 STAR Luncheon is scheduled for
April 22, 2010 - Scottish Rite Center, 332 E. 1st, Wichita
Lunch Buffet at 11:30 a.m. - Program begins at Noon
